Now I have everything working fine with the 6.3.17-3 drivers I'm reluctant to update unless absolutely necessary.

I found my older drivers on the site for Wacom Asia: It's a cleaner list of versions too

@Alasdair - try installing 6.3.17-3 .. it is the ONLY driver that works for me. It works perfectly again now.
(note: be sure to uninstall old drivers and reset first)

I finally found the solution, thanks to the chaps at Celsys (Clip Studio Paint). For the 27QHD, the ONLY driver that works properly (actually, perfectly!) is 6.3.17-3 Ensure you thoroughly wipe preferences and old drivers along with restart first. Wacom, your dreadful support really does the deserve...
