Re: Wacom_touchuser.exe crash on Win 10

What I described in my second post seems to have fixed it. Better spend £20 than wait for Wacom to get round to it. Process Lassoo shuts down the process if it gets out of control. It makes no difference to the workings of the tablet other than touch is disabled, which is fine as I never use it. Ide...

Re: Wacom_touchuser.exe crash on Win 10

Seeing as Wacom evidently have no clue I'm trying the Watchdog function in Process Lasso, which in theory will restart the Wacom process if it takes up more than 100Mb of virtual memory. I wonder if Wacom will refund me the £20 it cost to purchase this s/w. Nah.

Wacom_touchuser.exe crash on Win 10

I've had a three crashes and one brief hang over the past three months and two of these at least appear to be due to Wacom_TouchUser.exe. I had one today. When changing focus from Painter to Chrome, the display hung for a second, then both windows disappeared followed by the display. My cursor was s...

Re: Driver issues

Never update your driver unless you're having problems with your current one. I forgot I'd made this pledge some years back, so when I recently built a new PC and installed the latest driver without thinking, it failed to work. Replacing it with a year-old driver solved the problem. If you're on Win...

Re: Intuos 5 window dragging crashes

Whilst my OP was awaiting moderation I fixed the problem by going back to a device driver from 2017. One thing, however. I do not want to turn on Windows Ink because with it's switched on I can't hold and drag certain Windows on the desktop, e.g. Chrome, when using the pen. The cursor disappears and...

Intuos 5 window dragging crashes

Hello, I'm on a new build Win 10 Home build 1708 and running a Wacom Intuos 5 with Corel Painter 2018 (up-date-date). I'm running the very latest Intuos driver 6.3.29-4. Flicks and Windows Ink are turned off in Settings, as is Windows Ink in the Wacom pen settings (that damn hard-to-find checkbox th...
