Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.

I do not know. If I had to guess, the other user didn't actually perform all the other BIOS firmware updates. c) You provide no options to downgrade the firmware to a previous version. Yes, I understand that it has security fixes etc. But you should allow users to downgrade the firmware in situatio...

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.

I do not know. If I had to guess, the other user didn't actually perform all the other BIOS firmware updates. Nope, I have exactly the same BIOS firmware version, same driver version, and atm, the same OS version. Nevertheless, I'm so glad mine works because I can't even describe how I'd feel like ...

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.

After reading your experiences, I'm starting to wonder if our MSP 13 is broken in some way... One thing that occurred me was that I increased the video memory to 512 on the bios, just right after buying. Don't know if it can relate somehow to the fact that I'm able to use desktop mode, but just wan...

Re: MobileStudio Pro 13 fan rattle sound and low air

I also have the 13 i5 version, and my fans do nothing like that. They are quite quiet and look balanced in the amount of hot air spit out. Looks like you got a defective unit.

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.

Yes, I'm using the center port. I've tried all port combinations between MSP and MBP but no success. Our MSP is the one with i7, 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. I believe your device is i5 so that is one difference. Yeah, it may be that. Well for me it works perfectly. Installed all updates including the B...

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.

Just checked, I have the same version. Interesting. Could this be a cable issue? So far I've tested 3 different USB-C -> USB-C cables: - This Belkin one: https://www.belkin.com/us/p/P-F2CD082/ - MacBook Pro's own charging cable - Google Nexus 6P's data cable What is also odd is that Wacom is saying...

Re: Rotation Lock Button not working

Thanks a lot. The problem wasn't the rotation lock greyed out, was just the button that wasn't turning it on and off. But actually it was you reading windows key on sharp keys that got me to the solution. I had mapped left windows key to ctrl on sharp key, to keep my shortcuts similar to what I have...

Re: Using the MSP as a PC screen. Thunderbolt with adapter.

Yeah, it's strange because it's also working for me with usb-c to usb-c. It's a bit laggy sometimes, but I think that has to do with the usb-c cable I'm using. And I also made a BIOS update recently, and the wacom app says it's up to date, so it's weird. I'm glad it's working though, as the desktop ...
