Tips for better MSP PS performance vs. MBP?

Hey everyone - I was curious if anyone had any tips to get better Photoshop CC 2017 performance out of the MSP 16/i7 tablet? I tested it against my 2014 MacBook Pro, and the laptop easily trounces the MSP in a blur action benchmark test (about 20 seconds for the Macbook Pro vs 50 seconds on average ...

Re: Where is the MSP stand???

I'm watching that Flipsteady video, and at least for the Cintiq Companion version, the tablet is bouncing all over the place when he presses on it with his fingers. That makes me think it's not going to be very stable for drawing/etc. Perhaps (hopefully) the MSP version is different.

Re: Where is the MSP stand???

I ended up getting an Artisul stand and love it. I did a review of the MSP 16 here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0a0650D4tyc&t=61s I forgot to mention the stand in the review, but I did link to it in the description. It folds up pretty well and gives you a few different options for angles/etc...

Re: Alternate charger for MSP

Nothing I've found yet. In fact, I found this article that specifically calls out the disaster of USB-C - in that simply choosing the wrong cable can destroy your machine:

MSP 16 Palm Rejection Errors (video)

Hey everyone- I really do love my MSP 16, but I've been having problems with palm rejection that are driving me crazy. I'm left-handed and have the tablet set up for left handed use. Yet, palm rejection only seems to kick in once the pen tip is close enough to the screen to register. Is this the cor...

Alternate charger for MSP

Hey everyone - Since the MSP uses USB-C, has anyone had any success using a different charger for it? I'm thinking, specifically, the USB-C charger that comes with an Apple Macbook. Something that doesn't look like the brick from my 2002 Thinkpad. :) I wasn't sure if all USB-C chargers were the same...

Re: MSP 16 i7 - Overheating/GPU issues

I've had my 16/512GB model for about a week. It was working fine initially, and then got to where it would intermittently shut down completely and without warning. I'm not sure how to go about diagnosing it. I don't have a lot of apps on it (photoshop, some drawing apps, etc). But I did notice, for ...

Love my MSP - what happens if I have to reinstall?

Hello everyone - I'm loving my new MSP which I got this week! One question - I come from a world (at least on the Mac side) where, with a new machine, I get a reinstall disk, or a disk partition with reinstall information, etc. For the MSP, there appears to be none of that. No disc, no "here's ...
