Re: Mac restarts spontaneously when PTH-651 Wacom Intuos Pro Medium Touch driver is installed
Hi, fortunately this issue has only occurred once for me, so there isn't really any "trouble" to "shoot". If I go through all the usual steps (like re-installing drivers etc.) and then the issue does not reoccur, we'd have no way of knowing if it would not have reoccurred anyway....

Re: Mac restarts spontaneously when PTH-651 Wacom Intuos Pro Medium Touch driver is installed
Could anyone from Wacom comment on this?
Three separate users in this thread, all experienced kernel panics saying "Preemption level underflow" along with "BSD process name corresponding to current thread: WacomTouchDriver".
Sounds suspicious?

Re: Mac restarts spontaneously when PTH-651 Wacom Intuos Pro Medium Touch driver is installed
I just experienced exactly the same issue. My 2016 MacBook Pro spontaneously shut down, and after rebooting, it reported a kernel panic "Preemption level underflow" which also says "BSD process name corresponding to current thread: WacomTouchDriver" (details below). I thought it ...

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
Update: noticing more and more lags. Sounds like that may be a different issue. The issue I experienced with driver version 6.3.38-3 was not intermittent. It was a ubiquitous reduction in the pointer's position update rate. Rather like reducing the frame-rate of a movie, but only affecting pointer ...

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
Interestingly, the new driver does NOT add the new component "com.wacom.IOManager.app" into System Preferences.app > Privacy > Accessibility, like the faulty driver did. I was mistaken about that - "com.wacom.IOManager.app" is still there and registered in System Preferences.app...

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
I just installed the new driver version 6.3.39-1. I'm happy to report that so far it appears to be working fine! There are no signs of the high latency / juddery pointer issue at all. The pointer motion is completely smooth, as it should be :-) Interestingly, the new driver does NOT add the new comp...

Re: Mac - Pen strokes are Jagged/Input Lag After Updating to Catalina
I just had the same experience, except I'm running macOS 10.14 Mojave. ⋅ Updated from driver version 6.3.37-3 to 6.3.38-3 - straight away my pointer became juddery and jerky, jagged and flickery, severe reduction in fps, lack of precision, totally unusable ⋅ Downgraded driver bac...
