Note: All users seeing wavy lines using a Wacom Pro Pen 2 with Wacom MSP, Cintiq/Intuos Pro 13” or 16”, please update the tablet pen firmware to address this issue. The update is now available via the Wacom Desktop Center application on your computer.

Other compatible pens are LP160, LP161 or LP180 (LP190 is not compatible).

The display is independent of the tablet driver controlled by the graphics driver. The Cintiq Pro 24 and 32 have connectors for displayport, HDMI and USB-C. The Cintiq Pro 16 has only USB-C build-in, but comes with an adapter for displayport.

Contact Wacom support in your region with this problem. Probably the unit needs to got for repair/exchange.

For Painter Essentials 5 make sure to turn off 'brush ghost' in the PE5 preferences. Then it should work fine. For the Intuos4 problem I would see, if restarting the Mac or driver at least helps for some time: if so it looks like software problem. Also unplug and replug the USB cable: if that helps ...
