Re: "How to set up" DUAL Wacom Monitors (Cintiq)

you cannot block the cooling vents.

that will overheat the device and destroy it.

the only option is to live with the fan noise.

Re: Opinions about Cintiq tablets

4. there are "ghosting" issues with the type of display panel it uses - look it up for more clarification Do you have a reference? I couldn't find any specific report of ghosting issues with the CP32 specifically. Yes the response rate is not the highest which will probably not make this ...

Re: Opinions about Cintiq tablets

An additional thought on Cintiqs: most of your drawing/painting will take place somewhere in the middle of your Cintiq screen. When it comes time to move over to the left or right side of your painting, you are most likely to use the Pan tool in your art application to drag that section of the paint...

Re: Opinions about Cintiq tablets

If you are drawing or painting, then a Cintiq is the way to go. If you are doing photo manipulation/graphic design, then stick with an intuos: you aren't going to need the extra precision of a Cintiq for this type of work. I am on my 2nd Cintiq and love them, but I do have some valid concerns about ...

Re: Cintiq 24 Pro Fan Noise

I have the 27QHD - it is perfect. No noise, and the display is just fine. I was considering the 24" or even the 32" pro, but after finding out about the fan noise, there is no way I am buying those now. I use voice recognition with photoshop, so I need my environment to be quiet. The fan n...

Re: Cintiq 27 Display Toggle

thank-you, this works. I have the upper pen button set to "display toggle". The problem now is that every time I turn on the Cintiq27, the tablet automatically goes into "display toggle" mode and pressing the pen button does not return the cursor to the Pen position - it gets per...

Cintiq 27 Display Toggle

Greets On Intuos, we can use the entire surface area to draw - or we can use only a smaller portion of the surface area by shrinking the 'tablet area' when in pen mode. On the Cintiq 27, we can choose 'display toggle' and then use the Cintiq to draw while looking up at another monitor. Problem is, t...

Re: Where’s the Cintiq pro 32 fan speed option?

just a guess but it's probably because they can't do it. if they allow you to turn off the fans on the 32" in the drivers, then they could be liable for damage should it actually overheat and fail. it would be like a car manufacturer including a button to flatten your tires when driving 100 mil...

Re: Where’s the Cintiq pro 32 fan speed option?

Are you looking to lower the fan speed or turn off the fans completely? the picture you attached shows that you can still lower the fan speed. But there is no option to turn them off. It doesn't look like there ever was. As of right now the best you can do is lower them, like I said I doubt Wacom wi...

Re: Where’s the Cintiq pro 32 fan speed option?

turning off the fans is going to cause the Cintiq to eventually overheat and become damaged. I can't see Wacom allowing a feature to turn them off completely.

Fan noise might be something users are going to have to live with unfortunately.
