Unable to install Wacom Driver - .NET Framework 4.5.2

I have just purchased the Wacom Intuos Pro Medium, but am unable to install the driver on my desktop running Windows 8.1.

I have tried the latest Windows driver 6.3.33-3 and the previous one 6.3.32-4

Each time I get to the .NET Framework 4.5.2 and it downloads, but hangs when it's installing. I waited a few hours and tried again, getting to the same stage and same result.

Any help would be appreciated as I've googled this issue and it seems that no one has had this problem except me.

You are probably missing some updates in Windows 8.1. Make sure you check and install any pending updates. You might require a few reboot cycles to get it completely done.

After this is done, please download and install all the Windows components manually:
https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework

If the issue persists, please contact Microsoft for further assistance.

Thanks for the reply Wacom5! Although the link to my issue you gave didn't have a solution there. But I've solved it.

For anyone who stumbles upon this same issue. I went to the Microsoft site to manually download the latest Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7. Instead of doing it within the Wacom driver update.

Then I went back to reinstall the latest driver and it now works.

Glad to know that it works now. The solution and the download link for Microsoft .NET Framework 4.7 were in the rest of my post by the way. The first link was only to explain the issue.
