Touch not working correctly after Driver 6.3.33-5 update for Mac

Hi,

I recently updated my Mac OS (101.14) as well as my Intuos Touch tablet with its latest driver. Since the tablet has list its touch abiliy. The tablet is seen by the "Wacom Desktop Center" software as well as in the Mac Preferences. The "One Finger - Tap to click" and the "Two Fingers - Tap to right click" have ceased to function. But the "Three Fingers - Tap -> Radial Menu" works.

So this is most likely not a hardware issue but a software or settings one.

I have the feeling that somewhere in the Mac Preferences there is a setting that prevents from using the Tablet single and doucle touches.

Has anyone experienced that? Any suggestions ?

Thanks!

Pascal

Hello, please try the following:
  • Open System preferences
  • Click on Security & Privacy
  • Select Accessibility
  • Click the padlock to enable changes
  • Disable WacomTouchDriver
  • Click the padlock again to save changes
  • Repeat the process and enable WacomTouchDriver
In other words, re-do the steps here https://www.wacom.com/en-de/support?guideTitle=Why-is-touch-not-working-on-Mac-OS-10.14%3F&guideId=3854ea4d-fa27-49c1-99d3-906e68d9046a.

Thanks this issue fixed it. The question is this a workaround or are you putting it in the next driver release.

This issue seems to only affect a reduced number of users and as far as we can see, is because the permission certificate form the previous driver installation is not extended to the updated version. This is a issue on OSX. I cannot tell if you will need to re-do these steps again with the next update or not. Hopefully this won't be necessary.
