Strange behaviour when deacitvating windows ink

Postby Gaspedalo » Fri 29. Mar 2019, 13:55

Hi!
I'm unsing Intuos pro M with a Win 10 machine. I work with premiere pro. In standard configuration there is a lag when you try to grab and resize clips on the side. It's like it's waiting for a right-click action. So I'd like to deactivate Windows Ink. Unfortunately when I do that every click with the pen is a right click and hovering the pen is like using the scroll wheel. Any help is appreciated.
Thank you!

Hi.
Easier than disabling Windows Ink would be to just disable "Hold to Right-Click" - https://www.thewindowsclub.com/turn-off-wacom-pen-press-and-hold-right-click
Disabling Windows Ink might not work if Premiere doesn't have an alternative. This works for Photoshop - https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/tablet-support-faq-photoshop.html - but I am not sure it will work for Premiere. Please check with Adobe.
