Wacom Intuos pro - Device not connected error after windows Update

Postby yohanv » Thu 25. Jul 2019, 07:11

Hi,

Two days ago windows 10 got updated and the Wacom isn't working anymore since: Mr Google didn't give any answers on how to solve the problem yet, also the treat (viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1559#p4546) did not state the error.

Windows Update: "Feature update to Windows 10 (consumer editions), version 1903, en-gb x64"
Driver using: WacomTablet_6.3.34-3

Wacom error : No Device Connected

I have used different USB ports to see if the PC recognises the Wacom being connected without any success.

Hey,
Did you try with a different PC already?
You can follow the steps here: https://www.wacom.com/en-gb/support?guideTitle=What-does-the-error-message-%E2%80%9CA-supported-tablet-is-not-found-on-the-system%E2%80%9D-mean-and-how-do-I-fix-it%3F&guideId=002-976 This is the same error message.

If the issue persists:
  • Unplug the tablet
  • Uninstall the driver completely following the steps here.
  • After reboot, open the Device Manager
  • Expand the Human Interface Devices
  • Remove any Wacom Tablet entry you find
  • Reinstall the driver and reboot again
  • Plug the tablet back in to a fully powered USB port.
  • Let Windows detect and install the device drivers
If there are no hardware issues, the tablet should work after this.

Thanks for the quick response on this matter. My Intuos pro M was connected to the PC at time of the update was installed on windows 10. This probably has caused this issue.

I followed the steps, step by step, from the feedback, downloaded Driver 6.3.35-3 (Windows 7, 8, & 10) from https://www.wacom.com/en-us/support/pro ... ers#latest) and Installed it, without tablet plugged in ;) and this solved my issue indeed.

Note: The error message “Device not connected” when running ‘Wacom desktop center’ could be added to: http://forum.wacom.eu/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1559#p4546 or http://forum.wacom.eu/?f=4&t=1559#p4546 for easier trouble shooting DIY :)
