I also have the same case. Wacom is not connected and is not recognized by the Macbook. After following all the instructions suggested above (meaning all the instructions I have fulfilled), I tried entering the wacom driver in the login process on Macbook Air.

1. System Preferences
2. Users & Groups
3. Login Items
4. Enter your password to unlock preferences
5. Add WacomTableDriver and WacomTouchDriver, check it
6. Finish it, and restart it

And voila, finally wacom intuos appeared

I am also having an issue with Wacom... I recently upgraded my device to 10.15.4 and since then my pen keeps 'pressing the mouse button'. So the pen is recognised and I can use it to move my mouse cursor but it also immediately selects everything, see image (it keeps dragging selection boxes so it is completely unusable)

Dear users, can anyone guide me on my trip? I updated my iMac to 10.15.3 and after that had big trouble with reinstalling drivers for my Wacom Intuos 5. I partly succeed. Only thing which is driving me nuts: pen pressure doesn't work. On the system preferences, it says only "A supported tablet was not found on the system", Wacom Desktop Center says "no device connected". I do not want to cry over "why is it all s complicated", but really need to fix the thing.

I was having this issue after upgrading my MacBook pro to Catalina 10.15.7

Here is how I solved it:

First, this step may or may not be required (but I did it anyway): turn off mac-os security by running the terminal command sudo spctl --master-disable
This alone will NOT solve the issue. I tried doing only this, re-installing everything and it still did not work. So follow the next steps:

Disconnect Wacom tablet

Go to System Preferences and remove any instances of the Wacom Tablet drivers from Security & Privacy > Privacy
Make sure to remove it (by clicking minus -) from Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Full Disk Access and Automation (remove check mark if minus not available)
Uninstall any existing installation of your Intuos Tablet.
Move your installation from the Applications Folder to the Trash
Make sure to go to Library\PrivilegedHelperTools and delete com.wacom.IOManager
Make sure no other installation files are left and all permissions are cleared from Privacy
Restart your Mac

Re-Install Wacom Tablet Drivers (with latest from website)
Let program go through the process of installing BUT DO NOT PRESS RESTART when finished (very important)
Once the install program finishes it will tell you that it needs to Restart in order to complete the process. DON'T.
Leave that window open.

Go to System preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy
And for all these sections: Accessibility, Input Monitoring, Full Disk Access ...
Add and check the following:

com.wacom.IOManager
com.wacom.DataStoreMgr
com.wacom.UpdateHelper
FirmwareUpdater
TabletDriver
WacomTabletDriver
WacomTouchDriver
WacomDesktopCenter

Under Automation, make sure WacomTabletDriver > System Preferences is checked.

You can find and add all the files above by looking in:
Library\PrivilegeHelperTools
Applications\Wacom Tablet
Applications\Wacom Tablet\.Tablet

(make sure your hidden files are visible - check online for how to do this on Mac)

Once this is done you may return to the installation window and click Restart.
Upon connecting your tablet you shouldn't be prompted for anything and your tablet should work normally like mine :)

My theory is that the Wacom Software and Drivers are not able to complete the installation on restart because they are blocked by Mac OS security so, if you restart before adding those files to the security exemption list the installation fails and never recovers.

God, my wife faced the very same issue and I've been helping to solve it for more than a week already. I've contacted Wacom support and we figured out that for new user driver installs properly and pen is working. However reset OS and configure everything from the scratch just to make tablet work doesn't sound acceptable to me.
I've tried all possible workarounds described here and on the internet but no luck. I'm desperate now and this is very disappointing experience with Wacom :(

The permissions are imposed by Apple. We would like to make the setup easier but it's out of our hands.
