Newest Mac OS Drivers go crazy with unwanted touch operations

Postby Philippe » Wed 23. Dec 2020, 16:48

Platform: Mac OS X Mojave (latest update) on Mac Mini 2018

WacomTablet_6.3.31-6 was the last somewhat stable driver for me to use, but not without annoying bugs (i.e. the forced multiple selection bug triggered by Excel, Preview and others). These forced me to update twice to newer drivers, the latest yesterday being 6.3.41-2. But these drive me into insanity: constant misinterpretations of my pen usage resulting in unwanted touch operations, such as page back/page forward, rotation, zoom, and so on. Ridiculous. This happens, and very unpredictable, when I just use the pen while my hand rests partially on the Wacom canvas.

Anyone else with this problem and how to fix?

And the multiple selection bug is also back again! Clicking on each item behaves like a Shift click, selecting them all instead as individually. Happen yesterday twice to me.

Why can't Wacom for once release just one driver update without any significant bugs?
