Win10 - Cintiq pro 24, losing pen pressure, needs driver reset

Postby redbeardmonkey » Tue 2. Mar 2021, 11:47

Several times a day I'm losing pen pressure when working in Photoshop (v22.2) on Windows 10 and the only thing that helps is to reset the Wacom driver. It seems to happen more often when switching between another program and going back to Photoshop. Rebooting Photoshop doesn't help though, resetting the Wacom Driver does. Here's what I tried already:

Added the applications (Photoshop, TVPaint, Clip Studio Paint) to the Wacom Tablet Properties
Tried older Wacom Drivers
Tried older versions of Photoshop
Tried installing PSUserConfig.txt file in the Adobe Photoshop CC settings folder that worked for pen pressure several years back, but does nothing now
Went through Tablet Pressure Support
Did the Driver Check (no errors identified)

But it keeps happening. It might still be a Photoshop problem, maybe? But the needing to reset the Wacom driver leads me to post here.

Thanks.

Photoshop v22.2
Windows 10 (19042.804)

Make sure the file is not called "PSUserConfig.txt" but only "PSUserConfig".
If the issue persists, please collect driver logs when it happens and contact the Customer Support team.
