What training do I need to use a Wacom Intuos in live online lessons?

You might have heard that Wacom tablets, like the Intuos, take some training to use compared to Wacom screen devices. But what exactly is meant by training? What do you need to do before using one in a live online lesson?

There's no long training course to worry about, really you just need to spend time getting familiar with using it. The biggest challenge is getting used to writing on your tablet while looking at your device screen. It's not hard, it just takes a little getting used to.

Before your live lesson, make sure you've plugged in your Intuos and downloaded the driver. Spend some time experimenting with drawing and writing on a blank document or whiteboard space. I like to have my tablet directly in front of me like a piece of paper when I write, so explore where it feels most comfortable for you.

That's all it takes. The more you use it, the more natural it will feel.
