Displayport in desktop mode working?

Postby Abikebuk » Thu 19. Oct 2017, 20:32

Hello,
I was thinking about buying a screen to add it to my configuration but I only have one HDMI port on my laptop.
I'm using my CC2 as second screen but is it possible to connect another screen from the displayport from the CC2 to get that monitor working ?

So my configuration would be like this :
Laptop ( Main ) => CC2 => Monitor

No that i snot possible.
But you could look for an USB to HDMI/display port adapter (as long as it is not 4K 60Hz).

Thanks for your answer.
That's really unfortunate.
The screen i want to buy is in the same resolution than my CC2, in 2K.
Do you know any reliable USB to HDMI/displayport adaptater?
