MSP 16 + Win 10 Fall Creator Update = Problems

Postby pyercoffin » Fri 20. Oct 2017, 07:15

Hey everyone!

So I just updated Win 10 to the fall creator update.
And some programs crash randomly at launch. I don't know if it's specific to my MSP of if it's a general issue.
Wordpad most of the times crashes, but randomly doesn't and works properly.
And Toonboom Harmony just shows the splash screens and disappears.
In both cases the event manager just says that the programs crashed without giving any clues as to why (at least not clearly to me).
I reverted back to the "normal" creator update, and everything works fine again.
Has anyone updated yet? Or have any clues as to why this is happening?

I am using MSP with the Creators Fall Update with the 6.3.25-3 driver. Wordpad runs fine and has not crashed so far. In the beginning after the update there was some slow reaction, when Windows was busy still in background, but that disappeared after a whie.
