Cintiq Companion 2 Resolution on startup

Postby moriturimax » Fri 9. Dec 2016, 19:32

Have a problem, 90 times out of a hundred, when I start up my Cintiq Companion 2, it is set to a much lower resolution. I have to switch it to the right one and this plays havoc with my Corel workspace layout. I have to move everything around to where it goes... is there anyone else who may have had this problem? It happened to me day one after delivery.

You are using Win 8.x ? In this case I suggest to start msconfig, select 'boot' and try to enable 'base video' and 'Make boot settings permanent' - (I cannot garantee that this is the correct option, as I don't see the problem here, but suggest to try.)

Tried it, and even though it started in a lower resolution for login, it then went to the resolution I want. So I'm crossing my fingers that that setting is telling it the right thing.

Cheers!
