wacom stand

Postby Bilboudo » Sat 4. Nov 2017, 22:15

I've seen that exist a page on the Wacom website regarding the Wacom Stand for the Mobile Studio Pro, but it looks like it's still not complete (the videos instructions aren't yet available and other things).

When do it will be available to be purchased?
And most of all, how much do it will be?

It's been almost a year and there has yet to be any official response from Wacom regarding the much-anticipated stand... I have a feeling that it's been so long in the product life-cycle that Wacom isn't likely to make one at this point...

Of course, you could always get creative.

Do you mean that this page existed from the beginning?

Please, don't shatter my hopes.... >_>

About to be creative, I'm already using another kind of stand, but I would like to have a stand that can be attached to the MSP and feels as "integrated".

So I did the "Live Chat" on that page this morning and talked with someone named Guido. He said the stand was due to be released this month and it would have a price of $99.90 USD. The price could change, but I personally think that's unlikely.

Honestly, although looking nice and all, I think the Wacom stand is overkill, at least in terms of price. I got this one here(link below) from Amazon and it works perfectly. It's light, super flat when folded and easy to travel with and totally stable for a fraction of the Wacom stand price.

Also, if anyone is looking for a perfect travel keyboard I can highly recommend this one (below). For a fold able mini keyboard it comes surprisingly close to the feeling of a full size board. It's sturdy and has decent key travel.
Best of all it also pairs perfectly with my Android phone ( 1+3T) which turns the phone into a micro laptop :)

Good news about the release this month, but really bad news about its cost: about $100 is madness! :-(
Well, let's wait and see if someone will purchases it and makes some reviews.
I'm not sure I would be willing to spend $100 to keep my stand attached to my MSP.... :-6

We're almost to the end of the month and still no stand. I checked back in with their live chat and... Well...

Me: I was told earlier this month the stand for the MSP would be released this month, but haven't seen any news about it. Is it still planned for November release?
Edgar: Thank you for contacting Wacom Customer Support. My name is Edgar, it will be a pleasure to assist you today.
Edgar: Hello!
Edgar: Unfortunately, the Wacom Stand for the MobileStudio Pro release was changed for December. So, it should be available this coming month.
