Wacom MSP 13" new Bios Update

Postby Bilboudo » Fri 8. Dec 2017, 10:53

Hello to everyone!

Today I noted that there is a BIOS update (from 1.00 to 7.00 version) for my MSP 13".
What should it change with this update?

I prefer to ask before to update, just because I've had problems with the latest driver (6.3.25-5) and currently I'm still using the oldest one (6.3.22-5), so I don't want do discover that this BIOS update is in some way related to the use of the last driver....

In other words, I don't want to make my device to get any malfunction...

The firmware update has no effect on the driver, but fixes an Intel security issue on certain types of CPUs. Make sure to have a password for Windows login configured. If you are using fingerprint or PIN for login, this has to be configured again on Windows restart after the update procedure.
