Upgrading CC2 SSD?

Postby tomatogoatee » Fri 15. Jun 2018, 19:30

Since this tablet is out of warranty, I was wanting to upgrade the SSD and RAM. I've seen the Wacom staff here provide helpful information in the past regarding this, but I can't seem to find the posts I'm looking for.

I really only need to know what speed RAM is supported (along with max supported amount) and what the form factor is for the SSD. I have an i5 with 8GB memory and 128GB storage now. I realize the CPU is the real limiting factor of this tablet, but if I can get 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD, I think it'll be viable for a while longer.

From what I've researched on my own, the SSD is M.2 and the memory is DDR3 SODIMM (2 slots).

And while I'm not yet ready to crack open my MSP 16, will the motherboard on that support more than 16GB?
