Make RealSense camera work?

Postby WhichwayJanus » Sat 14. Jul 2018, 17:04

My MobileStudio Pro keeps bugging me about calibrating the RealSense camera on the back of the device, but when I launch the calibrator it fails with an Invalid Argument error. Is there any way to fix this? Is there any way to use the back camera without signing up for a very expensive 3D scanning program? Thanks.

The camera should work fine normally without calibration, but if you need this: the error shows in the combination of Windows Fall Creators Update (and later) and is an error in the Intel software. You would need either a newer Intel software for Intels RealSense camera or revert to an earlier version of Windows10. (Not sure, if there is now an updated Intel driver for this issue.)

Thanks. I now have it working as an ordinary camera, which is good enough for me.
