JanvBNetherlands wrote:Wacom team I cannot imagine that you tested this Wacom Color Manager software on the Mobile Studio Pro, impossible. I think you just updated the general color softwarw without trying it on this device. Am I right? So please do. Because Wacom still advices the Wacom Color Manager for the Mobile Studio on the website, but it does not function. So people buy a device for E 300,- that is not wprking, not doing anything at all.

We tested and we can confirm it's working with Wacom Color Manager v1.5.
Seems that the issue is that in a previous calibration, something went wrong with the Look Up Table setting. I have seen this previously in very rare instances.
There is no way to fix this remotely. You will need to send the device in for Repair. I have asked the customer support team to contact you. Please check your inbox in the next 24-48h.

Now I have bought the original x-rite i1 Display Pro and installed i1 Profiler.
Works great: Delta E << 1,0 (mostly ~ 0,3).

Same with the Cintiq 27QHD.

OK Wacom5 You were right. Something had gone wrong with the Look Up Table.

I have send my Mobile Studio to the Wacom repair center. Was very quick, 1 week included sending from the Netherlands to Germany and returning.
Now the calibration with the Wacom Color Manager is fine. And a the display has a very, very good match with the prints from my Large Format (calibrated) printer. Even a better match than with my other calibrated wide gamut screen. So I can use Lightroom and Photoshop (also for painting) and really know in advance what my print results will be. That's what the calibration was all about.

My advice to people buying the Wacom Color Calibrator is that to be sure the above doesn't happen, when you have installed the color management software from the CD on the Mobile Studio, first update this software (pop-up menu upper left corner) before you do a calibration. Then all will be working fine. And you will get a very good calibrated screen. (Wacom the new updated color manager software is not yet available on the website)

For now I thank you Wacom team for all the good service and for the repair. And especially Alessandro from Wacom customer service.
Kind Regards,
Jan van Briemen

I am very, very glad to read this. I'll make sure Alessandro and the team get your feedback.
As for the new version being downloaded from the Wacom website, we are working on it I already reported to the website team. It should be updated as soon as possible.

To me it looks like you and gammarart have the same problem with the look up table data. Other calibration software will work because they don't use this data, but for the best calibration you do need this data and need to use the Wacom Color Manager. So I think its in any case the best solution to contact the Wacom experts if you have this problem.
