Cintiq Hybrid problem with rocker ring in Android mode

Hello,
I own a Cintiq Companion Hybrid model DTH-A1300.

My problem is that the Rocker Ring buttons don't work in Android mode but it reacts when in Windows mode and with Ubuntu also.

Wacom support said it's a hw related problem but it sounds quite strange to me, since in "PC mode" buttons work as already said above.

I bought the device as second hand although it's in perfect estetic condition.

What could be the problem? Could it be some system file deleted by the previous owner?

Thanks in advance for your patience

Did you reset to factory mode?
That should be the first step to take.

I tried, but failed because at reboot the tablet ask to confirm the reset operation by pressing the center button in rocker ring. But it doesn’t react.

As I said, buttons works in windows mode (and on Ubuntu also) and this drives me crazy. I can’t imagine a double flat cable for this.

Ok. I’ve managed in some way the reset to factory mode using a USB keyboard. Press ENTER instead central button did the trick. But buttons in Android Mode doesn’t work anyway.

I can’t put the device into recovery mode (doing something like deep recover to stock rom as in a lot of Android devices) trying to perform a forced update to 1.04 because the keyboard isn’t recognized at preboot.

You can give that a try but if nothing else works, you might need to have the unit checked by our support.
