Windows clean install constant problems

Postby kubszton81 » Thu 3. Jan 2019, 10:28

Hello Everyone,
I baught my MSP 16 i7 512 little over a week ago. I love the way it is designed and love working it - mainly Photoshop and Lightroom.
I updated all drivers. Windows update took a looong time to process it all but the outcome was a success.
But after a few unnecessary app's installations, I decided to perform a clean install, resetting MSP to its original state. Unfortunately Windows backup module didn't work and I got a "there was a problem during settings reset. No changes were made" message. I also tried Windows Refresh Tool, but no luck here as well (error code: 0x80072F76 - 0x20016) :( Any of You Guys or Gals had such adventures with Your MSP's ?
Maybe USB Windows image boot? But how...?
Please help... :{

Sounds like the Windows back module is corrupted. Are you trying to completely reset Windows or trying to Reinstall Windows keeping your files? I wouldn't recommend Windows USB boot. You should contact our support for further assistance - https://support.wacom.com

Understood. Something is definitely corrupted. You should send the device to the repairs team for inspection and for a clean SDD flash.
