Mobile Studio pro screen lifting up

Postby Bilboudo » Thu 14. Feb 2019, 09:06

Hello to all.
On my MSP 13" it's a while that I'm noticing a slight lifting up of the screen on the left side, that in the last few days looked get worst.
What is happens? It looks like there is something within the machine that push slightly the screen out month by month.
By now it splitted by about 1 mm.
I'm working with the MSP every day for several hours per day, but mostly without battery.
What can it be? Could be the battery that is dilating (for which reasons)?

Sounds like the battery is dilating because you keep the device connected to the power supply. We released a firmware last year that should help avoid this.

Please back up your data and contact our support as soon as possible - https://support.wacom.com - Your device needs to be repaired.

Thank you for the quick reply.
I've just contacted the Wacom support right now. Let's see what they will say.
Is it nothing that can be fixed with the new firmware in other ways other than to send my unit to repair?

There is no way to deflate the battery and you should definitely have it replaced.
