Firefox 3.6, Chrome and the Wacom Tablet Plugin
Hi there,
I am using the Wacom Tablet Plugin for my drawing web site Colorillo.
The plugin works pretty nicely, but it seems that it stopped working with Firefox 3.6. I tried it in Firefox 3.0 and there it works. Is a fix on the way?
Also I noticed that the plugin doesn't work in Google Chrome, though it works nicely in Safari. Any thoughts on this?
Thanks!

Just tested it with Safari and Firefox 3.6 on Win7 -64. At first it remained 'loading', but on a second try it worked ok. (I was using a newer beta driver version though, but with Wacom plugin 1.1.03.)

Thanks for your response. I tried with the currently available version 1.1.0.4 and was talking about Mac OS X.
Is there any way to try this beta plugin or a time-frame when it might be released?

I tried it now on OSX (with a newer driver version) and can confirm, that there is a problem. Pressure was working with Firefox 3.5.5. In FF3.6 I can paint, but not with pressure. I will get in touch with the developers.

Great! Thanks a lot!
Did you by chance also try Google Chrome (I checked version 4 and 5) under OS X? It doesn't work there either.

Re: Firefox 3.6, Chrome and the Wacom Tablet Plugin
Our developers are aware of the problem with Firefox 3.6 and plan to include an update in the next driver release - which should be fairly soon. Regarding Chrome, we cannot support that at this time, it would require a major rewriting of the interface due to the way Chrome plugins work.
