Mobile Studio pro: input pen issue on extended desktop

Postby Bilboudo » Wed 19. Apr 2017, 17:33

Hi to everyone!

I have a problem:
I've connected a second monitor to my MSP 13" through the Wacom Link. Everything works fine, but the input of the pen is set to be visualized on the external monitor. The result is that I'm completely unable to work on my MSP with the pen when I'm extending the desktop on a second monitor.

Is there any way to set the input pen to work on the MSP display?
Please, help!

Am I the only one with this problem?
No one do use the MSP with a second monitor to extend the desktop and to work with the pen on the MSP?

I've noticed that disabling Windows Ink the pen can work on the MSP display but, when I use Photoshop it don't works (each time I touch with the pen tip the display, the cursor shift between MSP display and second monitor display).....

Yeah it's a pain, but I figured it out. Makes sure you have a keyboard and mouse connected.

Go to the regular windows control panel. Search for it in Cortana.

Go to hardware

Go to "Tablet PC settings"

go to "Calibrate the screen for pen or touch input"

click "setup"

it'll ask you to press your pen against the display you want the pen to be on. Then press enter. It'll then ask you to press enter on the other display.

After that, you should be good, but it's still buggy from time to time. The screen flickers and turns black and then comes back, but it's mostly good.

I really hope Wacom optimizes this soon.
