Can't assing shift key to express keys

Postby Renderluz » Wed 12. Jul 2017, 02:23

Hello, I just installed the latest driver and now I can't assign the shift key on the express key, if I want to write the shortcut Ctrl+shift+z Im not allowed to, and in the previous driver I was able to do so.

Please help.

Which operating system is it ? I tested on Win10: Expresskeys->Keyboard->Keystroke and entered Ctrl+Shift+z. It shows as {ctrl}Z with a capital Z, so looks ok.

Hi,
I just installed the wacom driver 6.3.27-2 for my brand new remote expresskey.
Unfortunally it is not possible to assign the combination {shift}-key and [Num 1}-key. If I try, it only assign {end}-key.
But this is, for Indesign, not the same and I need this combination.

Any idea?

thanks and regards
Ralf

Not sure if that is possible in InDesign, but I would check preferences for the option to assign the function you need to another keystroke. - Perhaps there is a driver problem, that needs to be tested.

Hi and thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately, in InDesign you can only assign the num block keys to formats: shift+num, ctrl+num and shif+ctrl+num.
The ctrl+num works fine, but both, shift+num and shift+ctrl+num won't work in the expresskey setting dialog.
And yes: It doesn't matter, if the numlock is locked or not.

A little bit disappointing, that the wacom software shows this behavior.

I use the expresskey in combination with the Dell Canvas 27 and one of my most used application is InDesign.
I use the num-assignments for format very often. Therefore this is, for me, very disappointing.

Thanks again and regards from Germany
Ralf
