Cintiq 27 qhd stand by problem on sierra

Postby bgood69 » Fri 7. Apr 2017, 23:05

Hello everyone! I have a cinquq 27QHD and osx sierra on a mac pro, I already had a replacement of my cintiq after 15 days, reason why it does not start anymore. Amazon replaced it with a new one now the only worries I have with the new and as with the old, the standby of the screen is not always done. If I set the sleep to 1 minute most of the time it works, if I put it on 15 mn it does not always work. If I turn off the cintiq, I have no problem watching my main screen. Do you know if there is a driver problem, do others have the same problem? I hope not to have another cintiq that does not work ...

This has been a problem for a long time. I noticed it on El Capitan. I have to turn off my Cintiq whenever I leave the room. I believe Wacom said it was an issue with the USB constantly "speaking" with the computer that prevented standby.

Same issue here. Mac OS Sierra 10.12.4. Cintiq won't let my displays go to sleep when attached. Unfortunately it has been this way since purchase so I don't foresee them addressing the issue. Especially considering the lack of response to driver issues such as wavy lines, sticky modifiers, and the hot mess that is multi touch.
