Hurricane Florence Alert:
A rather large hurricane is set to hit the East Coast of the United States at the end of this week. Because of its size and threat to life & property there have already been significant evacuations in the areas expected to be hit worst. Hopefully things do not turn out as bad, but we will probably see shipping delays to and from that area (our North America distribution center is in Memphis, TN, close to the area).
If you are in the US region and you order something during this period, please see check https://www.ups.com/us/en/service-alerts.page?id=alert1 for possible alerts.

new 24/32" Cintiqs: Antiglare

Postby cocouacocoua » Mon 9. Oct 2017, 09:25

I'd like to send a request to Wacom for the new Cintiqs coming in 2018, but can't find an official place..

Is about the antiglare film, please, I understand that it's very helpful for people working on large studios without the chance to optimizing the environment lights in order to avoid reflects, BUT there is a very large amount of people working at home, without any reflects risk and the anti glare film coating makes the tiny pixels in the 4K screens awful!! just compare a retina macbook or imac with that, think you are even closer to the Cintiqs!!!

A glass option is a must.

Also, please, care a lot about the fan, the whistle in the 16" is a real pain.

Screens are about image quality, antiglare kills sharpness and contrast.

An iPad Air antiglare similar to the glasses, would be the perfect be the option, but obviously I understand this is extremely expensive for such a big device...

People who love the antiglare plastic film feeling while drawing (not a prblem to me after working with glass pen displays ) could imitate the feeling with felt tips.
