iMac 5k late 2016 & Cintiq 27QHD

Postby makeurmark » Mon 16. Oct 2017, 15:13

I have an iMac 5k (late 2016). 4xUSB3 ports, 2xThunderbolt2 ports.
I am very close to purchasing the Cintiq 27QHD.
Has anyone managed to successfully connect the Cintiq 27QHD to Thunderbolt 2?

I haven't seen anything positive yet with regards to success. That's why I'm holding off.

Thanks

The Cintiq27 has display connections for HDMI and displayport (1.2). The displayport connection should work without problems on Thunderbolt2.

Let me rephrase that. The setup works great as far as connecting the display to the iMac. The Cintiq does have the usual mess of driver bugs since its release though.
