geforce gtx 560 ti with cintiq 27qhd no 2560x1440 resolution

Postby iqfree » Sun 26. Nov 2017, 13:28

Hi,
i just bought cintiq 27 touch and want to connect to my pc which has graphic card nvidia geforce gtx 560 ti. Graphic card has 2 dual link DVI outputs and mini HDMI. All of them should support 2560x1440 resolution but in win i can see by cintiq display possible just 1920x1020 resolution. I tried with HDMI to DVI cable which is included in package, i bought new HDMI to mini HDMI cable and nothing works. If i connect cintiq to my laptop through mini display port i have bigger resolution. So i think problem is in graphic card but i dont know where.
Any ideas ?
Thanks in advance.

So you connect your Cintiq 27 via HDMI in the moment? See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI#Specifications for the details. All components must comply to HDMI 1.3 to get the full resolution.

Wacom recommends to use Display Port to connect Cintiq 27 family screens to a computer.

Hello,
I connected HDMI to mini HDMI and it didnt work. Then i connected HDMI to DVI with cable which is included in package and it also didnt work. Now i searched web and i found that it need to be special conenctor DVI-D to support 2560 resolution..I dont know why is not this cable included in WACOM Package..
I tried to do also custom resolution in nvidia panel, i got something on tablet but it was totally blurry...

I know about recommendations just want to know if there is a solution for me without spending additional money for graphic card...
Tablet itself costs lot of money not to mention ergo stand etc etc..With that value of money i would expect at least proper DVI Connector inside a package....

So i will try today also DVI-D to display port or HDMI cable but if it doesnt work i am out of any ideas..
If anybody has some suggestions i will be thankfull.

Regards,
Tone
