I'm waiting to buy a new cintiq model next year (the 24 one), but in the meantime I have to buy a new computer and Iwander what type of connection I nead for the next cintiq model.
I studied the existing cintiq and I found differences in the connection type used (USB type c [0?.1?] like the 16 pro and display port for the 27qhd....
so...Which connection type should I consider to buy the new computer?
this is an important question because I want to avoid compatibility problems and I want to be able to use full features of the new cintiq models.
I know that this is an anticipation, but it saves me a lot of frustration and I want to be able to buy something that works at full feature.
Thanks in advance!
Marco

Re: New cintiq 2018 plug connections
I dont know what you wound up getting but I find it unlikely Wacom would back track on USB-C now. USB-C with thunderbolt is a safe choice.
