Cintiq 22HD no signal

Postby Riivih » Tue 9. Jan 2018, 18:16

So I just recieved my Cintiq 22HD after a lot of chaos with shipping and whatnot
and..the monitor itself seems to work, it recognised the pen and works normally on my laptop screen like an intous would. But the monitor itself won't say much aside from "no signal" despite how much I try to reajust the cables & reinstall.

I'm using a DVI - VGA cable to get it connected to my laptop, but it won't recognise the tablet monitor. Are there any fixes for this? The tablet was supposed to arrive back in december but was delayed until now and I have a very tight schedule to follow as my intous broke down back then. Please let me know theres an immediate and cost free way to fix this issue.

That may be a problem with the cable - you need to use a DVI-I to VGA cable to get the analog VGA signal to the Cintiq. Adding a DVI-toVGA adapter to the existing cable is not suffient - since that cable carries only a digital signal. - If the cable is correct and you see the 'no signal' problem, check in Window display settings, that the Cintiq is detected as monitor and that is is activated (mirror mode or extended desktop mode).
