Problems with brush in Illustrator

Postby sonrisapower » Mon 22. Jan 2018, 22:00

I'm having a lot of issues with brush strokes (doesn't matter which one) and their edges. It keeps doing weird stuff with the edges of round shapes and It's getting really annoying. I have tried updating my driver and I've tried different strokes in illustrator. I've also tried to restart my computer and illustrator and everything isn't working. I really want to know how to fix this problem because I can't make any drawing without these issues.

I have images but I don't know how to show them, I can e-mail them to you or if you have another suggestion please let me know.

Kind regards

I would check the brush settings and graphics settings (anti-aliasing ?) for Illustrator. The tablet is only positioning the brush (go to position xy and use pressure p), but has no influence on which tool is used, what is does or how it looks like.

I don't know what you mean by pressure b? I have checked the settings in Illustrator, nothing stands out that can explain it.

This one is made with a simple caligraphic brush with only pen pressure as a feature. Nothing else.
Here are some images:
