Wacom Cintiq Pro 13 - No Device Connected

Postby LordSeth » Thu 1. Feb 2018, 03:56

'Sup Guys

So basically I bought a Wacom Cintiq Pro 13, and with full enthusiasm and promise I downloaded and installed its driver.
At first, the Wacom Desktop Center (WDC) did recognize the device and automatically got 2 Update notifications, so I pressed the pen pro firmware.
After downloading it stopped midway on installation giving me an error, went back to WDC and it gave me "no device connected". I've done everything online, I whipped my laptop cleaned from all driver files and reinstalled it, still, WDC gave me "no device connected".

I understand its a firmware issue, and there is nothing about overriding the tablet to fix it. I've sent an email to services and got nothing, my country doesn't have a Wacom service center, so my only resort now is this forum.

I'm using a MacBook pro, Intel Core i7, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

I would really appreciate the help.
Thank you guys and have a nice day.

Is the LED still coming On ? And do you have the possibility to connect it to a Windows PC ? Then support can try a recovery. Otherwise the unit needs to go for repair unfortunately. (If you are not in an EU country, we recommend to contact your dealer to handle that or exchange the unit.)
