Cintiq 27QHD won't turn on, power adapter beeping

Postby frank4 » Mon 26. Feb 2018, 02:50

Hi all,

I have been using my 27in cintiq on-and-off over the past year, the last time I used it was probably a month ago and it worked completely normally. I get it out to use it and when I plug in the power, I hear the power adapter emitting a faint beep on a one-second interval. The cintiq screen does not turn on. The light on the power adapter does not turn on. This beeping happens whether or not the usb/hdmi are plugged in. The cintiq is recognized by my computer when I plug in the hdmi/usb (I am on windows 10, new monitor appears on "Change Display Settings" and "Device Manager").

Has anyone experienced this issue, know a solution, or have troubleshooting suggestions? I have tried for some time researching for solutions online but did not discover a clear answer. Please let me know if I can provide any additional information. Thank you for your time and help!
