much shorter cables for your wacom cintiq pro

Postby kangum » Tue 13. Mar 2018, 19:17

I love my wacom cintiq pro. I use the included wacom link adapter but the cords it came with are 6 feet long. So you have the long length of the usbc cord then the wacom link then 2 cables that are 6 feet long each. This is way too long if you have it just on a desk. I found 2 cables that are 1.5 feet long instead of 6 feet long that are far more manageable if you still need to use the wacom link.

The first is a USB 3.0 to USB 3.0 1.5 feet

The second cable is a thunderbolt 2 cable which is more expensive then display port but has the same connection and can handle 4k bandwidth that standard display cables cannot.

This is also 0.5 meters or 1.5 feet long.

hopefully these shorter cables will help someone out there.
