"Automatically hide menu bar" bug on OSX with Cintiq 22HD

Postby Bolos9000 » Sun 25. Mar 2018, 00:23

As the title says, I've got a bug when I check the "Automatically hide and show the menu bar" in the General tab of the System preferences.

The problem is that when I go to the top of the screen to reach the hidden menu bar, sometimes it does not show up.
The only work-around I found so far is using the cmd-tab shortcut to switch to another app and then go to the top again to have the menu bar showing up.

I may add that I'm using a hackintosh. I firstly asked about this problem on a related forum (link to the topic here), but someone there suggested me that the problem may be from my Wacom tablet.

I'm using a Cintiq 22HD with driver 6.3.29-6 on mac OSX 10.13.3

Here are the hardware specs :

Don't hesitate to ask if you need more.

Thanks.

This probably depends on the speed to move the pointer. Should be better by moving it a bit slower.

Thanks for your answer but I tried that before and tried after reading again and this doesn't make the menu appear. I tried with both stylus and mouse.

I guess I'll stick with my work-around.
