I can't believe it... switched from 27 QHD to 24 Pro... 50% brightness and the display is already really noisy... my two nvidia 980 ti strix are not that loud.
Please Wacom... DO SOMETHING!!!!
With 100% brightness btw. it's absolutely impossible to work... such a pitty... because anything else is just great and beautiful...

Fan Noise Cintiq 24 Pro
A really great pen display the 24 pro... love it... above the 21, the 24HD and the 27QHD I owned before.
But there is one really ugly drawback:
After a few minutes of running a terrible fan noise starts to annoy me. Brightness set to 50%. If I set brightness to a value above 75% it sounds like a boing 747 engine.
Please Wacom... do something about this. Actually the screen isn't even warm if the fan starts to spin...
This is such a pitty... destroys this otherwiese great product completely.

it seems there were so many complaints about the weight of the Cintiqs in the past they had to choose between slim, noisy and VESA-non compatible Cintiqs vs robust, VESA-compatible and silent Cintiqs
I'm glad they chose the slim option as that was my main task with it, make people jealous.
and ey! you always can hide the fan noise buying a super noisy computer

the Cintiq Pro 16 it's being in the market for over a year now, with the same problem, they obviously know it, but still went ahead with this design, 2 fans at full speed with ver 75% bright.
Wacom cycle usually takes 3-4 years, so you can hope for a new Cintiq Pro 4K without about fans from 2021 or so. Good thing is competition has become something and there are hope for alternatives sooner.

most 4k monitors have fans not just wacom. however wacom fans have certainly been louder than most others. the exception is the ultrawides that are not really 4k. People have complained about heat since wacom cintiq version 1.0. the 4k monitors need a fan anyway and help with sweaty palms too. I dont know when or if they will ever create a 4k monitor without a fan but I can say it likely wont be from wacom.
