Pen calibration problem

Postby MistressNight » Mon 27. Aug 2018, 00:19

I have an issue with the calibration of my pen specifically on any drawing programs. I've tried using several techniques to solve the issue, but none have completely fixed it. I got it to where the more centered I draw on the canvas, the more accurate, but as soon as I start drawing, the pen won't catch up, even when I stop pressing down on the tablet. It's a little better, but still very hard to draw with. The program I am using is Paint tool Sai, and I've tried it with krita, but they both have the same problem. Does anyone know how I might be able to fix this? I can attach a video if needed.

Please check if the following helps:
Adjusting the Settings in Paint Tool SAI
  • Open Paint Tool SAI application. On Menu bar:
  • Go to Others - Options - DigitalSupport .
  • While in Options: open Digitizer Support tab.
  • Check the value of "Click detection pressure (0-100%)".
  • Set the value to '0' (zero).
  • Save the change with OK.
  • The recommended Advanced Settings are:
    • Quality: 4 (Smoothest)
    • Size: checked
    • Press: checked

Check for Compatibility issues:
  • Right click on Paint Tool SAI -> click on Properties -> click on Compatibility;
  • There should be an option along the lines of "deactivate scaling with high DPI value" or "deactivate scaling for more than 300 DPI". Check the box next to it.
  • Click "Okay" to close the properties menu .
  • Close and Restart Paint Tool SAI.
Check again the Pen Pressure Sensitivity or Other issues with Paint Tool SAI

I couldn’t find this exact settings, but I found settings for DPI, and I tried changing them, but none of them worked.
