DRIVER UPDATE
Upgrading to Mac OS 10.14 Mojave? A new driver will be released early this week. Keep an eye out in the Wacom Desktop Center for the update notice. However, a new Mac OS security feature requires some additional changes to run the Wacom Driver correctly. Wacom Cintiq Pro 24, suggestion for improvement

Postby DonBarrum » Sat 1. Sep 2018, 15:35

Hi, I just received my Wacom Cintiq Pro 24. While first I want to say that the tablets drawing experience is absolutely amazing!

The only thing bothering me is that the fan starts running after 10-15 mins of usage. It's not extremely loud, but still annoying for people using the tablet all day long. I don't know if this is possible, but since the fan runs harder the brighter the screen is, if you could've made an option in the software to dim the screen whenever it's been inactive for a certain amount of time, or let the users assign one of the buttons at the top or on the remote control to dim the screen whenever they want, it would have been really nice. Especially since professionals using this board would like to keep it on all day long, but as a secondary screen there might be times you don't really use it for anything except a secondary screen...and it's ok to have it on brightness of f.example 20%.
Currently I choose to turn it off whenever I don't use it, which is a shame, because then I don't get to enjoy the extra screen real estate.
