Hello,

I would like to know if I can use a UHD Wacom (16 or 24 inch) in 4K @ 60Hz on a Mac Pro 2013 (with 6 thunderbolt 2) ?

Do I need the bi-directional apple thunderbolt 3 (USB C) to thuderbolt 2 adapter?

Or do I need something else?

Thanks in avance for your answer. I am confused with these new connectics.

Alexis

Depends on the maximum output capacity of your Mac. Not sure if your version is able to reach 4k and 60 FPS. If it is, you should be able to reach it with proper cables / adapters.

Off course, we can put 3 screens at 4k and 60fps on a mac pro 6.1 (2013).

But before to buy a cintiq UHD, I want to be sure i can use it with 4k...

On Macpro 2013, 4k outputs are thunderbolt2 or displayport contrary to these wacom with usb3.

If someone have a feedback or the answer, I will be very happy.

Thanks
Alexis

Alright. You will need the Wacom Link Plus (included in the latest Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 inch edition). If you are going to buy a brand new one, look for product code DTH-1620A.
