Wacom cintiq pro 13 no device connected

Postby Althea » Thu 18. Oct 2018, 06:48

I have an urgent problem with my cintiq. I've bought it months ago from a friend, installed it to my macbook air 13 and it worked perfectly from day one, no problems at all.
Today, I switched it on, like usual but the pen doesn't work, it works on the screen of the pc but not on the tablet, the touch keys on the upper side don't work either, except for the one that switches it to "tablet mode" and when I press it the screen of the cintiq turns black.
The cintiq's screen reacts to the touch only, not to the pen, and if I open the wacom desktop centre it says "no device connected" and also from system preferences it doesn't detect it.

I've checked online to find a solution but couldn't find anything useful, please help me!

Please check the cable connections. If the drivers gives you that error message, it means that there issue some issue with the data connection. If you are using the Wacom Link, try replacing the USB cable or using a different USB port.
If you connected USB-C to USB-C, then replace this cable as well.
If the issue persists then you should contact our support: https://support.wacom.com/
