Cintiq 27 - Pen Dropping, Keys not working (Windows 10)

Postby Uberbar » Mon 12. Nov 2018, 19:32

WIndows Updated a week or so ago and my Cintiq ran fine. Yesterday however my Cintiq driver is not working correctly.
I turn on my cintiq and the pen wont move on the cintiq screen. So I turn off the driver and turn it back on. Then it works but the click's don't respond.
The only way to fix this issue is to restart my PC over and over.

Did Windows break my Cintiq again?!

I don't think that Windows has broke the Cintiq but you might have a few driver issues. I would start by doing a complete clean install of the Wacom driver and see if it helps. Please carefully follow the instructions here: https://www.wacom.com/en-at/support?guideTitle=How-do-I-uninstall-(manually)-and-re-install-the-Wacom-driver-on-Windows-for-a-Pen-Tablet%2C-Pen-Display%2C-or-Pen-Computer%3F&guideId=ce67b2c8-4f6f-47c8-93cd-4c6581992d1c

Ok I've done the manual clean driver install. So far so good hopefully that fixes all the odd errors.

Ok So the issue is still happening. If I turn my Cintiq off and then later turn it back on my pen wont move to the cintiq screen. No idea what is going on or how to fix it.

So far the only fix that is working is by going to my services and restarting the driver from there.

Please check the USB ports and the cable. Make sure you plug the tablet directly tot he computer and not through a HUB. You should also check if something if preventing the Wacom driver from starting.
