Cintiq 24HD Grip Pen Waivy lines

Postby CarlosA » Wed 9. Jan 2019, 08:12

I'm getting super crazy wavy lines with the latest update....
I'm running windows 10 and the driver is 6.3.32-4

i notice the issue on both Clip studio, and photoshop.
I've change clip studio compatibility option "override high dpi scaling behavior. scaling performed by application" which was suggested online, but it did not help.

I've also turning on and off "use windows ink" option in the Wacom setting app.

this is not a problem with fast strokes as usual only with moderate speed strokes like when inking a character in clip studio.

If the problem started with the latest update (I assume you mean the Wacom Driver?) I would suggest installing the previous version.

We had a similar problem occur with a couple of 24HDs at a studio where I was working a few years ago - after waking from sleep / being used for several hours it was impossible to draw a straight line - we even tried using a ruler, and ended up with an oddly neat wave pattern. The workaround was to unplug the USB cable, and plug it back in - that solved the for at least a several hours.

I hope that helps.
