Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 -Palm rejection?

Postby PoliSt » Mon 4. Feb 2019, 12:44

I’ve recently decided to buy a Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 ,but due to the negative reviews i am slightly uneasy about few of the problems.
It seems to me that many people have had a palm rejection issue which is quite alarming for an artist like myself who always drags their hand on the surface.I’ve read about quite a few dots appearing ,lines etc.So I’d like to ask if anyone who owns one has got such a problem and is it a major one or is there none of that by the current date ?(since most of the reviews i’ve seen were a year or two old)
Also if i buy one ,I will be using it with a MacBook Air-the latest version (2018 I believe) so i shouldn’t have a problem with the 4K ,right?
Thank you in advance!

Most of the issues with Palm Rejection were introduced with a Windows update. It was easily resolved by turning palm rejection on through Windows Ink - https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/enable-palm-rejection-on-windows-10-touch-screen/
I have seen any consistent reports of this issue recently. The ones I did see, were new users that just finished doing all updates.

So,does that mean that using a MacBook Air there shouldn’t be any problem regarding the palm rejection?
Thank you for the help!
