Color Profile Problem

Postby linefader » Tue 19. Feb 2019, 10:35

Hello, I am recording the output of a Linux PC using a BlackMagic Design Intensity Shuttle for Thunderbolt and I'ld like to draw on the video which I am recording (using Software like OpenShot) and I also record me drawing sketches (using standard graphics software like GIMP).
For that purpose, I bought a Cintiq 13HD Creative Pen Display which I connected to the HDMI output of my Intensity Shuttle. More precisely, the (1080i) HDMI output from the Intensity Shuttle runs through a UpDownCross HD MiniConverter (also from Blackmagic Design) giving me a 1080p signal which I connected to the Cintiq Tablet.
This setup basically works, however the color space is not correct: Everything is shown with a yellow tint, since the MiniConverter always outputs a YUV color space and the Wacom Cintiq accepts RGB. Is there a way to change the color space accepted by the Wacom Cintiq 13HD to YUV or a converter from YUV to RGB?

The Cintiq 13HD and all other Wacom devices are made to work in RGB space. Unfortunately are not able test your setup so I cannot provide any advice other than using a native RGB output from the computer to the Cintiq.
