Cursor Offset (Cintiq 13HD Creative Pen Display)

Postby khalidfathy85 » Sun 24. Feb 2019, 22:19

Need help!
I am having a slight shift of the cursor from the pen tip.
It’s about one millimeter but it’s annoying, and it increases when I move towards the edges.
I tried calibration many times, and I tried different display & resolution settings. I even tried on different laptops and software (photoshop, clip studio paint, autodesk sketchbook) but it’s still there.

I don’t know if this is normal or not? I did not notice this gap when I first tried it but I don’t believe it was there.

I am using a wacom cintiq 13HD

Hello there.
1 milimeter offset is absolutely expected and negligible.
This is due to Parallax effect. Be aware that there is some space between the glass and the LCD so you will always observe a certain offset from the the pen and the cursor. You can reduce this by adjusting your viewing angle and how you calibrate the device accordingly.

If this is a really an issue for you, then you might want to consider the Cintiq Pro line as we have reduced the distance between the pen tip and the LCD. This in turn helps reduce the parallax
